Wilson-Covington is proud to be complete removing a solid CMU and concrete wall in an operational grocery store. This work was done at night and the dust and debris kept out of the retail area. Wilson-Covington specializes in this type of difficult and dirty work while keeping the customer’s store or home clean and neat.

Harris Teeter- Asheville, NC in Spring
Wilson-Covington Construction Company is pleased to continue its relationship with Harris Teeter. The firm is currently building a new store in Summervile, SC and remodeling an existing store in John’s Island, SC.
Built In Bookcases for Winston-Salem Residence Complete
Wilson-Covington has completed the installation of custom-built bookcases in a Winston-Salem residence’s den/sunroom. This work included fabrication to fit a unique space around larger windows, painting, and installation. Wilson-Covington further installed beaded paneling on the ceiling of the room over older ceiling tile to complete the room’s makeover.

Wilson-Covington Receives Two Preservation Awards
Wilson-Covington Construction Company is very proud to have received two awards for historic preservation/restoration from Preservation North Carolina at their annual conference in Edenton, NC last week.
Hayes Wauford, Executive-Vice President, received the awards on behalf of Wilson-Covington.
Minnette C Duffy Landscape Preservation Award
Project- Historic Bethabara Park 1753 Palisade Fort Reconstruction

Wilson-Covington removed the existing reconstructed fort and installed 2,000 hand-worked pine posts on the original site of this French and Indian War era fort, the only one of its kind on the original footprint in the South.

Wilson-Covington completed a full interior and exterior restoration of this early 19th-century timber-framed Georgian home. This included all plumbing, electrical, and geothermal heating and cooling. Original wainscot, mantles, and overmantles were reinstalled and new trim and windows fabricated to match the original where missing.
Wilson-Covington Restores Water Pump- Old Salem
Wilson-Covington Construction Company has completed the restoration of the pump on the square in Old Salem, Winston-Salem, NC. This work included rebuilding the cap, repairing the pump stand, and repairing all internal plumbing. Thankfully the pump is now in condition to be enjoyed by thousands of children for years to come.
Kitchen/Living Space Remodel
Wilson-Covington is excited to have begun a kitchen and living space remodel in a gorgeous home. The project will include a complete kitchen remodel, expansion of heated living area into a formerly screened porch, and all new interior finishes in kitchen, living, bath, dining, and breakfast rooms.
