Midcentury Home Restoration In Progress
Wilson-Covington is proud to be restoring and remodeling this gorgeous 1966 Midcentury Modern home in Winston-Salem, NC. The new owners are uncovering the original Midcentury design elements that were covered or lost by later additions and remodels. When complete the home will be a fine example of the work done in Winston-Salem by prominent architects during the Midcentury periond. This particular home was designed by Ray Troxell who completed many residential and commercial projects in Winston-Salem.
Residential Bathroom Remodels Complete
Wilson-Covington recently completed remodeling an entire home in the New Sherwood area of Winston-Salem, NC including three bathrooms. Work included reconfiguring the layout of the bathrooms and closets and all new fixtures and finishes. A custom etched glass panel nicely finished out the master shower.
A Trio of Projects in the Triangle
Wilson-Covington is currently finishing up three projects in Durham and Cary, NC. These include two conversions of former Kroger grocery stores to Harris Teeter grocery stores as well as facade remodels for the shopping centers. The Harris Teeter stores will be opening shortly. These complex projects with short schedules highlight the skills of the Wilson-Covington team to coordinate many subcontractors, vendors, and owner vendors in short windows to get projects done on time and within budget.
Commercial Addition for Warehouse and Manufacturing Space in King, NC in Progress
Wilson-Covington is pleased to be working on this commercial addition to add capacity to the client’s production ability. The 9,000 square foot metal building addition that is now taking shape began as a design-build project with Wilson-Covington helping step the client through the process of identifying their full needs, situating the addition on the site to suite topograhpy, setbacks, and other limitations, and value engineering the building to work within the client’s plan.
