Just installed on Winston-Salem’s Fourth Street! This amazing event space, coffee shop and bar is a recent project by Wilson-Covington.
Wilson-Covington Construction Company has completed the Footnotes Cafe and Event Space for Foothills Brewing in Winston-Salem. This newest addition to the Foothills lineup will serve as a cafe during the day serving coffee and light fare as well as serving Foothill’s own beer. It will also be available for weddings and other private events.
Wilson-Covington successfully adapted this historic building including structural work, concrete work, all new plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems and finishes to serve as an exciting new venue in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. By means of a lift the space was connected to the neighboring Foothills Brewpub and Restaurant allowing the kitchen in that space to serve both facilities.
Wilson-Covington is pleased to be working with Foothills Brewing in Winston-Salem, NC on another project. The Footnotes space will include a cafe, bar, and event space for Foothills to host large gatherings and events. Wilson-Covington is renovating a 1920s masonry building, used for many years as a garage, to become the new space for Foothills Brewing. Footnotes will share the building with Winston-Salem’s newest bookstore, Bookmarks, and there will be direct access between the bookstore and Footnotes cafe.

Wilson-Covington Construction Company has been named general contractor for Foothills Brewing’s new tasting room at its production facility on Kimwell Drive in Winston-Salem.
Wilson-Covington has begun renovating part of the 48,000-square foot production facility for a tasting room scheduled to open to the public in April 2015. The new facility will complement Foothills’ existing brewpub on Fourth Street in Winston-Salem. The new tasting room has been conceived by Foothills as a premier destination for Triad craft beer lovers, offering 28 different taps, live music, food trucks, games, and eventually a run club. Customers can also buy six-packs, bombers and cases of beer, as well as Foothills merchandise. Tours of their 52,000 barrel-capacity brewery will also be an integral part of the Foothills Tasting Room experience.
