Newest Harris Teeter in Winston-Salem, NC Opens
Wilson-Covington is proud to have been a part of the Grand Opening last week of Harris Teeter’s newest store. Located on Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem, NC, this 55,000 square foot store is the 4th new store built by Wilson-Covington in the last two years with another under construction in Cornelius, NC.
Korner’s Folly Exterior Restoration Complete
Wilson-Covington has completely restored the exterior of Korner’s Folly and completed important interior structural repairs over the last 3 years. The final phase of this project culminated with a new roof being installed on the historic building, brick chimneys repaired and repointed, exterior painting, and the stabilization of the privy building. The work was completed with no resulting damage to the building, including the delicate murals on the interior ceiling and walls of the upstairs.

Salt-Flax Historic Restoration Nears Completion
Wilson-Covington is nearing completion of the restoration of this 1850s home in Old Salem, Winston-Salem, NC. Final work includes cabinet installation, tile installation, custom built ins and trim work, skimming and repair of plaster walls, painting and floor finishing.
Wilson-Covington Begins Work on Foothills Brewing’s Tasting Room
Wilson-Covington Construction Company has been named general contractor for Foothills Brewing’s new tasting room at its production facility on Kimwell Drive in Winston-Salem.
Wilson-Covington has begun renovating part of the 48,000-square foot production facility for a tasting room scheduled to open to the public in April 2015. The new facility will complement Foothills’ existing brewpub on Fourth Street in Winston-Salem. The new tasting room has been conceived by Foothills as a premier destination for Triad craft beer lovers, offering 28 different taps, live music, food trucks, games, and eventually a run club. Customers can also buy six-packs, bombers and cases of beer, as well as Foothills merchandise. Tours of their 52,000 barrel-capacity brewery will also be an integral part of the Foothills Tasting Room experience.
